BRITISH RED CROSS wanted to reach new younger audiences, to raise awareness of their work with Refugees here in the UK and across the world.
Mahogany Creative conceptualised, pitched and produced a 3 Year series of experiential music events, talent partnerships and even recorded an album – sharing the message and starting the conversation with thousands of young people across the UK and beyond.
2014 – SEEKING SANCTUARY (Event)
Built an immersive event under Waterloo Station encompassing 6 unique walk-through installations, featuring international performance artists and practitioners.
The event saw over 2000 People pass through over 3 days, achieved international Media support including National TV news and broadsheet print coverage.
2015 – THE LONG ROAD
(Album Production) Commissioned, Booked and Produced an Album called ‘The Long Road’; featuring legendary and contemporary Award Winning International artists (Robert Plant, Tinariwen, Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars, Scroobius Pip, Kindness), each recording songs inspired by the real life stories of refugees from across the world.
2016 – EVERYDAY HEROES
(Festival Partnership Series) Conceptualised, booked, produced and managed multiple stages at UK Festivals across the summer featuring a programme of Performances, Talks and Installations to raise awareness of the work the British Red Cross do across the UK,helping individuals and communities when they need it most.
