BRITISH RED CROSS - THE LONG ROAD

The British Red Cross, a long-term partner of Mahogany, aims to broaden their reach to younger audiences and promote their work with refugees globally. To achieve this, Mahogany Creative developed a three-year series of music events, talent collaborations, and even produced an album titled “The Long Road” for the British Red Cross in 2014.

The album, curated by Mahogany and produced by Ethan John features a stellar lineup of established and up-and-coming artists including Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Tinariwen, Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars, Scroobius Pip, and Kindness, and is a powerful and captivating project. Each artist invested hours into connecting with refugees and delving into their experiences, inspiring the creation of poignant and meaningful songs. The result is a body of work that not only showcases incredible talent but also raises awareness of the ongoing refugee crisis, with authentic and first-hand accounts at its core.

Mahogany’s efforts helped the British Red Cross attract younger audiences, spread awareness about their cause, and raise funds for their noble work.
